What makes addiction especially concerning is that it can happen to any individual; no one is exempt. A person can develop an addiction regardless of where they live, how much education they have or the background they come from, maybe you suffered, trauma, PTSD, or domestic violence. We believe that clients should have opportunities to explore and grow. Clients are given ample opportunities to hike Sugar Loaf Mountain, do yoga, bowl, and walk Baker Park and Carroll Creek together. We offer a network of support for men and women, including peer recovery, and speakers that have “been there done that” and live a productive, prosperous life.
We realize that children are often involved in the continuum of care with parents in crisis, we are partnering with the YMCA of Frederick to be able to provide daycare to parents in need. Appointments for therapy will need to be set so this service can be provided.
